Rockin’ Pictures is the photography practice of Robert Tjalondo, a Rotterdam-based photographer and documentary maker working across the Netherlands and Europe. Available for commissions in conference photography, corporate events and portraits, the work is created in a way that feels natural, human and visually calm.
With experience across more than 350 events in the Netherlands and internationally, Robert brings a documentary eye, a strong sense of timing and a calm professional presence to every assignment. His images combine atmosphere, clarity and brand awareness — precise without feeling staged, and professional without losing warmth. From keynote stages and exhibition floors to executive portraits and networking moments, the aim is always the same: to make images with character that remain useful long after the event itself.
Clients have included DP World, Money20/20, Enlit Europe, Paris Blockchain Week, Red Cross, IRC WASH and UN Women. Alongside commissioned work, Robert is also the creator of Faces of Rotterdam, an ongoing documentary project that has strengthened his reputation for story-driven photography and long-term visual storytelling. That same sensitivity to people, presence and context carries into every assignment under Rockin’ Pictures.
