Vienna has a quality of light that’s rare in conference photography — even inside Messe Wien, there’s a warmth to it that makes images feel different from events in other cities. It’s one of those places where the environment works with you.

I photographed a major gathering of energy professionals, innovators, and industry leaders. The combination of a well-organised venue, engaged delegates, and that Viennese atmosphere made for some of my favourite event work.
